Hey All! Just wanted to drop in and introduce myself. been a lurker for a while now always dreaming about owning a shop similar to most of the people here. Anyway, finally got my first house and although I have a 2 car attached and 1 car detached I am looking to expand the single car garage to make it a 2 or 2.5 car. Also trying to figure out how to store stuff better and optimize the space I already have!

Probably will lurk still until I have something to contribute, but really enjoy the Journal....

Thanks for the welcome! Im in the planning stages to get the attached garage "organized" and a new bench built. Then the planning for the detached to "grow" it
Just remodeled the house and added 12 feet in length to the garage, what a difference. Used it for first time last night and its amazing to have so much more space

There is 1 in every group 1garage, glad to have met you already!!!! (J/K, hopefully my tease hasn't already gotten me banned) I used to live in Marysville for a couple of years, other than the school down ;) there I really like Cbus.

Turn your left hand palm up (your thumb will be the Keweenaw peninsula). There is not much south of Escanaba or Iron Mountain anyway until you get to WI.

Of course, it is not like the UP is "over populated" ! They are re-opening a mine up there !! Pasty business should jump. I have never tried thimbleberry jam.

MIC: yep there are more than a few Michigan members posting on here regularly in many sections. best of luck with making the 1 car detached garage bigger and lots of ideas on storage. i started an Organizing 201 thread i need to post more on cause until i move i'm using a 9x15 portion of our 2 car garage at home.

welcome and i see the Buckeyes have already showed up to see how loyal you are to BIG BLUE.
