Long time Army guy stationed in Tx, Been here 4 years now, figured why not buy a house. So, tear apart the old shop, move everything to the new house and start again.. All of that happened while I was deployed,, Came home last week to a 22x24 fully, insulated, plumbed, vented "garage" space that was built as a 5th livable room.... and filled with everything my wife and son moved from the old house that was not "inside" stuff...
We ride street bikes, ride and race dirt bikes, so the temp shop in the garage will be for maintaining cars, bikes, trucks, toyhauler, build, fabricate steel stuff of many shapes and sizes, on occasion build bike, utility and car trailers or modify same...
Lately I spend every other year deployed someplace for the last 6 years or so. Time building the home and in the garage are quality time for my son, wife and I... strange maybe... but thats what we do as a family
I'll start a "New Garage" thread and see what ya think of the set up and organization (it's a work in progress.. after work each day.. I make a little progress.......)
