New Guy From Upstate NY

Hi all,

I've been a member since 2012, reading often and drooling occasionally.

I just moved back home to Fairport NY but I commute every day to Auburn NY, about an hour away.....

My goal is to buy a nice piece of land, put up a garage/apartment on it and live for ~5 years. Then, as a family and more funds appear, I'll build a home. I've already got my eye on my first piece of land, and it's a looker. Come on over to my other thread, where I'll have plenty of questions about building on a hill with lots of trees and a septic!

Welcome to GJ! I used to live near you - we'd drive to Auburn all the time because there weren't any big stores in Skaneateles.
