Hi all. I kept coming across your site when doing a variety of web searches and found myself reading more and more. You have a great site, hope I can find a way to contribute.
I'm having some serious garage withdrawal symptoms. Many years ago I moved from a rental house with a garage into one I owned but had no garage. I did manage to finally build a pretty nice workshop in the basement but still had to do all my vehicle work in the driveway. More recently I moved into an apartment in the city and that's been really frustrating.
I ended up buying an old phone company cable splicing truck that came with a 10KW generator, air compressor, and a 10' box that I use as a mobile workshop, I keep it parked at a friend's business in the suburbs. I still need to finish building it out but it's already been a great help on a few projects.
