Hello all, My name is John and I am from Green Bay Wisconsin, I love all things mechanical and am a backyard mechanic (at best) but love to try and learn new things, I am a recent new home owner and a father of 4 young children. I stumbled across this site while looking for some automotive repair info and found what I was looking for in the "free parking forum". As I read through the multiple replies on this particular topic (oscilloscopes) I was very impressed with the politeness and the depth of knowledge as well as the willingness to share info by all the members. Upon browsing through the various other forums on this site I got that same feeling and now have a new "must look at first" bookmark on my laptop. Thanks again for all the very knowledgeable folks here and their time spent helping others. Take care. John

Welcome, John. Has anyone ever told you that your name is almost the same as a famous old cowboy? Johnny Mack Brown? One of my all time favorites. Or at least you have part of his name. I thought about that when I saw your name. So, being a newbie myself, it is good to hear from you. Take care.
