Hello!
Im from south east wyoming. I like to build stuff. Motorcycles take up most of my attention, but with building 'stuff' I do anything from chopps to brew equipment to trinkets and stuff for my mom. I work out of a super tiny 1/2 garage for the last couple years. I can not get a car in there, but one bike is comfortable. Its about 20 deep by 12 wide.

I like to mostly work on metal stuff, so most of my tools are geared to that side.
Lately I am researching Snap-On tool boxes and every google search this forum is on top, so I guess I better register and say hi.

My main project right now is this 07 sporty i picked up for 1500 bucks. not a thing on it I have not touched, or will not by the time its done.

Side projects are a hard tail ZX6R chopper, turning my littel 1/4hp belt sander into a mean little 1hp belt grinder, building some kind of saw mill for my brother to cut logs in half with easier. We have a cabin in the black hills and he builds log furniture with nothing but a hammer and a little HF electric chain saw. so im going to make some kind of crazy super size powered hack saw looking thing!

The tools I am desiring right now is a 3 bay or wide two bay box . my garage is so small I have to really watch out for storage. I can get pretty much everything I own in a KRL1023, and thats what I really want to find.
I ordered a 11x26 lathe, and I would like to put it on the box and then get rid of the crappy little boxes and shelves I have now and combine it into a super center of sorts.
I also keep an eye out for any metal tools, especially any kind of belt or disk sander or any metal cutting tools. An awesome Craftsman/Atlas powered hack saw popped up on the Denver Craigs list a while back and I kicked myself for not seeing it sooner. it was an old one, like 40's and very cool.
I am planning on making my son a rat rod go kart this summer, and building an old hit and miss powered ice cream maker for family reunion in july.

I run a daycare and flip motorcycles to pay the bills. I am a full time student even though im comfortably in my 30's. I worked my *** fof for the first part of my adult years just making someone else rich, and decided I didn't want to be like one of those broke down, busted up coal miners I worked with in Gillette. SO i just build stuff. Hang out with kids, and my own kids. I just applied for Harvard Business School, so well see if I have the balls to follow through with that or not......Life is good.

I am interested in learning more about Snap-on tool box model number designations. I have seen the three bay box with a few different designations. is there a list of model numbers somewhere?
