Well I've lingered long enough.

Here is my working garage. The house has a 2 car front/attached garage and a detached 2.5 garage in the back. We moved to this house December '11 and then I deployed in Feb so things were on hold for a little bit.

The garage was used by the previous owners to build open wheel modifieds. It had 30 years of filth everywhere.

The floor is extremely un-level which I will cover in a little bit.

This was what was in the garage before we bought the house...

This what we did when we finished... Painted walls, floor, hung 16 new dual T8 lights fixtures. Still need to paint the outside door...

So the last two days I've been watching the contractor cut my floor, tear apart the yard and lay concrete where it's well needed. The rain this year has made the ground around the house a marsh. The side of the house was starting to get tire marks from going back and fourth to get to the back garage.

Also with the new lift the floor was really un-even. To solve the problem I had a 7'x12' rectangle cut out of the garage. This will give me enough room to put the post and still have room to swing the arms without worrying about the ground next to it being to high.

That would be a non-spec car '69.

As soon as this other car is done it will be taking up a lot of space in the garage to start getting cut up.

Well the city came out and didn't like the way the concrete was poured. So the front part hasn't been poured yet. Trying to work it out with the city now. Should have more updates next week.

However, tonight the pad in the garage is all dried up and we installed the lift. Works great, but has the lopsided lift problem. Gonna grab some more ATF tomorrow and bleed it and see what happens.
