Let me start off by thanking everyone for the links and info I've used to build my tool collection thus far.

I grew up in my fathers shop using worn out Sears and Craftsman tools with some odd and end Chinese stuff here and there. I've been buying my own stuff for a while now and I've hit some snags and I'm hoping you guys can help me out. I don't have access to a truck so I'm looking at storefront/online only.

I'm looking for some torx/hex bit sockets but not sure what brands to look at. I've used SK but they're a little steep for me. Any good alternatives? How do the lisle sets hold up?

Also a good set of torx drivers

I was looking at these but they seem really cheap.

I that's a pretty good set I would say. Nothing special but good enough.

Proto J9302C Torx Yellow Handle Classic Professional Drivers...

Available with a little search...Made in the USA...

Good set...

Should be able to find a set for less than $ 70.00...

But...

If you want to cover just about every kind of screw known to man...

The Proto J9900C 36 piece Classic Professional set will handle that...

For a little over $ 300.00...I have the set, and they are the best drivers I've ever used...
