Not a Pontiac, a little 306 smallblock Ford. The trouble is.... It's all GOOD stuff !!! I think come spring I'll start sorting it out and putting a lot up for sale.

I just got rid of a bunch of good stuff. We are moving soon and the rental house has a 30x40 shop that I've been using for 5 years. I made 3 trips to the metal scrap yard and one trip to the dump. Put my little 6x10 trailer to some good use. Some of the steel I hauled off was brand new stuff that was meant for Jeep projects and other stuff, but it wasn't worth dealing with it. One of the only things I kept for project material is a 4x8 sheet of 1/4" steel, cause it isn't cheap and it can just lay flat on our garage floor at the new house.

It took some debating, but in the end I just hauled stuff off and got it out of my way. And made some cash from the metal too.

Yes - Piece of Studly Ford - It is good that you found us. We can clearly see the predicament that you face in your picture. You have amassed a fair number of items in your garage but clearly you are lacking. I see empty spaces on the walls and it appears that you could actually walk through your garage. Don't give up - many people stop collecting in frustration. Our team of hand selected, specially trained members will alert you to any vaguely interesting offering on CL, EBay, or local garage/yard sales. Sure - they are well compensated for their efforts - many command two figure salaries for their efforts (we are counting the decimal point here) - but they are worth every fraction of a penny

Man, you need CABINETS! It looks like everything I own but there is no "away" to put things in. I'd suggest searching Craigslist for anything you can mount to that block wall for over workbench storage space - you've got bottles of chemicals (for example) all over the place). You could easily make your own, but trying to make cabinest in that area would just add dust to the mix. I noticed on another thread someone had bought multiple two drawer filing cabinets, placed them side by side and then just used two layers of 1" plywood on top as a work surface. That could work great in this area. Surplus filing cabinets are plentiful, cheap and would give you some order FAST. Then store similar things together. Last, I'd suggest improving your overhead stroage for things like that mattress frame and the steering wheel. They odn't need to be out and they're awkwardly sized to store. Best of luck and post pictures of your progress.

You don't need help... Your place looks a lot better and more organized than mine!
A rough estimate of the larger contents in my 24x24 is:
A Porsche tractor (yes they made tractors too)
A '64 IH C1200
Two 250 gallon tanks.
Three Volvo engines and two Volvo gearboxes.
Two TH700 slushboxes.
Two Mig welders.
Workbenches.
Compressor.
Lots of tools and car parts.

Most of it just crammed together to make room enough to work on the IH. That is, squeeze around it...

Move the drill press to the left side, move the welder off the floor to the a welding cart (see sprawlmart parking lot for those). Add a beer fridge. Attach the steering wheel to something that moves. The eddlebrock box can be thrown away since you have already pulled the intake out.

Minimally, I would move the fire extinguisher out from under the table and attach it to the center wood support. You place is still cleaner that mine!! Nice shop. What are you putting the small block ford into?
