Hi all. Been lurking for a while. Thought I'd share some pics of my paint job in my garage. Still have to hang stuff on the walls, memorabilia and such, and decide on a floor treatment. That big triangular box in the corner is my tornado shelter I built out of 1/4" thick steel plate, bolted through the floor and foundation wall. The orange and black stripe stripe has been carried across the door since these pics were taken. Hope I've figured out how to post pics. Thanks.

Hey Bill,

Nice paint and the first "Harley" tornado shelter I have ever seen posted.

Great looking bench, tv, stereo cabinet and shelf unit. Did you put it together?

Maybe the left side can feature your Mustang.

Keep us updated on your progress.

The cabinets were an old entertainment center someone was throwing out. I separated it into 2 pieces, painted it black, and added some diamond tread plate to the doors and drawers. The workbench is from Lowes.
I've got some mustang stuff to put on the walls on the left side.
On a limited budget, so I'll probably stain the floor and give it a clear coat this summer.

Looks great! I hope your stripes went better than mine did. I had hell making them look right. LOL

VERY NICE... I like the Harley Theme:bounce: Welcome to a really cool site. I'm pretty new too and already got a lot of great advice and ideas.

Keep this thread posted on your progress...:beer:

The Bar and Shield turned out awesome... (now where did I put my note pad):)

I know what you're saying. I had to go over each one, top and bottom with a small brush to sharpen them up. Bleed through was ridiculous. Guess I shoulda used Frog Tape!
