I recycle every thing I can. I built my house about 13 years ago and was planning to have half the basement for my shop. I wound up with a place only about 12x16 and it just got smaller. So I decided I wanted a shop myself. I couldn't afford to build a new one after just building a house so I got the idea of finding a old barn to use the wood. I found the first barn that was two stories and about 50x40. A lot of it was rotted but I did get some good wood. I then found another elderly man that needed a barn removed. It was 100x100 and the good thing was it was down already. I got lucky in that because whoever mixed the concrete did a bad job and it just fell down. I got enough wood and tin from those two barns to make a 24x40 shop. Electric, water ,insulated, and concrete floor. I also put in a pit to get into to change the oil. I had enough of the wood I used the weathered wood on the inside walls . The grand total cost I had at this time was 2 grand. That cost was from concrete, insulation, wiring, and plumbing. I then inherited my dads old tractor a few years ago and needed a place for it. So I then razzed a house for a widow to clean up some of her property. I added a 6 foot overhang on the back and a side addition of 12 feet and cost of about 200. So now I have a cost of 2200 in it and a size of 52x30.

Anyway here is the shop [/URL]
