Hello all my name is Scotty I'm new to the forum but not new to forums.
Quick background on me. My love for Vettes started when I was 5 or 6 y/o my uncle, mothers brother, had a 427 BB and would let me steer the car sitting on his lap. He was a big vette fan and very capable person. I learned a lot from him. He never had kids so I was the son he never had. We are very close to this day. I'm 31 y/o and I am a professional pilot as well as have a small real estate business. I bought my first house in 2007 and live here with my girlfriend who is also a car nut.

Here is my garage when I bought the house.

The first year in my home.

2009 when I acquired my C6

When I bought the house the garage had some rotting wood so I decided to fix it and give it a facelift.

2012 Old siding coming down

Found wooden siding under the aluminum siding.

I decided to leave the wood siding up. It wasn't in terrible condition

New siding up just need to finish the trim and drip cap.

I bought my third vette a '96 Grand Sport coupe #322 of a 1,000 built. so I had to kick the C6 out :dunno:

I couldn't stand the C6 outside so I just had a Bendpak four poster installed:thumbup: now everybody has a spot :D and the lift guy told me I have just enought room to add one more lift when I get a C7 ;)

Just to show I'm very serious about my garage... That was the last six years of evolution.

I have so much more planed. Next is race deck flooring and better lighting.
So I'll be turning to you guys for help and ideas. storage is my next big problem. I really need to get a shed for the landscaping equipment. That would help a lot.

Anyway I'm happy to be here and get to know some of you:thumbup:

Tell me about it, I just put up a 30x40 shop and I told the wife we need a shed for the Lawn Mowers and etc... haven't got a death stare like that since I asked about a 3 some. Bad part is the three some was a joke, I'm serious about the shed :dunno:

love the vettes! I too have a collection, my mother's brother left me his original '68 BB tri-power convertible all restored a couple years ago when he passed, and I have a '94 LT1 as well. you must have a very understanding wife if she lets you have that many, mine keeps saying I need to sell one (I also have an MG, mercedes SL500 and a truck). Oh and nice garage!

Well we are not married yet but we have a good understanding. We have the 3 Vettes a suburban and her leased Toyota. Our plan is when her lease ends, I'm going to give her the C6 as a DD and ill buy a C7. We both drive the suburban depending on our needs.

What year SL500? I had a '98 and an '03 great driving cars! But dollar to power the Vette is more economical.

Any pics to share of your Vettes?

The garden shed is a must have, I don't do house over burden or garden stuff in the shed period.

I didn't think I'd ever sell it too. But at the time I also had a 50th anniversary and a 2005 C6 coupe. The GS was the one being driven the least. I do now regret selling it.
