Hi guys. Found this forum while looking up opinions on a Harbor Freight press. Lots of great info here! And its a forum that works at work, so a bonus!
Recently been restoring an old Volkswagen Beetle in my two car garage filled with one and a half cars worth of junk. I quickly learned that trying to do things without the right tool had two results: ruined the part, or destroyed the part:lol_hitti So now when it comes to certain things, I don't mind spending the extra money to do it right. It makes the frustration involved with car work totally disappear.
Going to empty out that garage when I finish this project (hopefully) within the month and turn it into a real workshop. Until then, time to soak up everything I can from here!
Any other crossover posters from The Samba?

Welcome to the GJ. You'll find a lot of good ideas for small garages here -- and enough of the really huge dream shops to keep you lying awake at night trying to think of how you're going to get more land to build on. :)

What year is the Beetle?

It was a 74 when I started, but I felt like I've welded on more 60s era metal than what I started with!

Welcome to GJ, Vinny. I've got a '65 splitty bus on my garage at the moment and there are a lot of other VDubs here.

Having the right tool sure keep the project on track and safe.

And, Jack, glad to know I'm not the only one that dreams of more land for the next garage...
