Hello

I'd like to introduce myself . My name is Chuck, I'm from Waverly Alabama and have apparently too many hobbies therefore too many projects. That being the case I started building a shop 18'x 43" for my Studebaker Hawk and some of my other stuff. Simple single story deal nothing to it...but then I got to thinking about adding a second floor !! So I did it and now it's 23' to the top of 12/12 roof. It looks more like an old two story shot gun house than a shop. I've got a long way to go before it's finished but I will keep plugging away at it.
Thanks for such a cool forum

Chuck

Welcome to the forum. Love those old Studebakers. Is the Hawk the one that looks like a catfish mouth? Can you post some pictures of the Hawk and your build? We love pictures here.

You can never have too many projects. I'm quite sure I have more than enough to outlive me. Just need to prioritize them all. :eyecrazy:

Here are a few photos of the shops slow progress. I'm building this thing with the help of my very understanding wife! I hope to put siding on it this summer.
You will see the Hawk with the front end jacked up sitting on jack stands. I was rebuilding the front end outside and the insects were eating me alive and that's when all work on the car stopped and the shop began. I built around and over the Studebaker and didn't drop a thing on it!
