By way of introduction, I am now down to five cars from six. One for the wife and four for me. So I use my garage regularly. I keep my language well exercised. And after all these years am finally considering some changes to make it more comfortable. This reads like the perfect place for my current needs and interests.

The subject that sent me this direction is my struggle to understand the installation of a new interlocking PVC floor. 1200 sq ft. Specifically expansion and contraction. This is an expenditure that is not for the faint of heart. It took me 40 years to get to this decision point. And so far have found no one with real life experience installing and living with a floor.

I have been cruising the internet for advice. Nothing. On another site one of the members of this fine organization suggested I join. I have since forgotten his name. But am impressed with the subject matter and how it relates to garages.

I immediatly ran across a forum on Big Maxx heaters. I wasn't even looking for that one yet. My problem turned out to be dirt daubers. But that is another story.

So I am excited to be here and looking to contribute when I can.

I maintain a consistent and seemingly expanding inventory of groaners ready to be asked when I am ready to finally address a problem.

Advice is always welcome. I even have to admit the wife is right on occasion.

Goodnight! I hope my admission about my wife being right on occasion does not disqualify me or penalize me. It was an out of body experience.
