Hello all, recently bought 3.5 acres with 250' of creek frontage in Cle Elum, WA. Long term plan is to build a home on the property but right now the land only has a 40'x30' pole building with a cement floor and about 16' to bottom of the trusses. The building is about 15 years old, in good shape and has really only been used for storage of a travel trailer and misc cars and equipment. There has never been any utilities to it, and it is not even insulated. It is basically a blank canvas for me, so I have been doing a lot of reading on this site and decided to ante up. Thanks in advance for all the help I will be asking for!

Welcome! Kind of random, but I might have looked at this place years ago (if it's the one.) Does the overhead door face west, and is there a lean to on the back? Thought it had a well and power on site though, but it's been a few years since I walked the property. Does the creek flow SW to NE and bend around to the east? If so, I don't think the creek is the border; I think it only kisses the NW corner of the property.

Regardless, Cle Elum is a fun area!

Must be different place, garage door faces east and there is a carport on the north side of the garage but its part of the same roof line. So basically the building is 40x40 with a 40x30 garage and a 10' carport. It's on Big Creek, just off Nelson Siding Road about half way between Easton and Cle Elum. The creek cuts through the property, so it has both sides of the creek, but no road access to the part on the north side of the creek at this point, but no one can build there at least. There is a well, but its fairly new and hasnt been used yet. Power is at the road. Its a nice piece of land and Im looking forward to spending time there.

Cool! Somewhere I have a picture of myself with a huge grin on my face crossing Big Creek on a quad a little upstream from your place. Nice find to get creek-front over there!
