New to the site and so far can't stop reading. I found this site on one of the Mustang forums I post on. I am looking for ideas on finishing my typical 500SQ. FT. two car garage. We've been in our split foyer house for 4 years and all I've done is load it up with two mustangs, extra parts, tools and kids toys.
It's time to finish it and get it organized so that I can actually work on my cars in there. The walls are done, but I need ideas for the ceiling and floor. I'm probably going to go with a drop ceiling because of all the pipes and ducts. I need some ideas on lighting??? As far as the floor I was wanting to go with something like Racedeck, but I think that is going to be way out of my budget. I don't really want to do the epoxy floor coating...I'm actually thinking of just sealing it. Any ideas on a cheap floor tile? What about those 20x20 linoleum squares with an adhesive backing?
Any ideas? I would really like to see pictures of other standard 500sq. ft. garages that were done on somewhat of a budget. I've been looking at some of the ones posted recently here and man are they awesome.
