I've lurked around here in the past but finally signed up and have made a couple posts already. I moved into a new house last year so I actually have my own garage for once. I wish I could go crazy with it but for now I'm just happy to have a place for my car and my tool box, I was really tired of it being over at my moms after I left my car audio job and went back to school. I was never comfortable with it being over there and my brother and dad having free access to all my stuff! haha. I love em but I'm picky about my tools. Even though a few of the old craftsman things I probably knicked out of my dads stash a long time ago lol.
Anyone in the houston area know of good places to pick up quality stuff? Flea markets or tool places where I can pick up used snap on or other tool truck stuff? Lately I've tended to order stuff online (I'm working up a list for an ultimate garage order of some facom stuff) I noticed the quality of craftsman stuff waning lately and their stock seemed to shrink and shrink and shrink. I didnt even realize until signing up here and looking around that they had offshored their stuff. oh well, plenty of other good stuff out there.
