Hi all! I am in the process of buying my first house right now, it however only has a little 1 stall. I found this site some time ago and figured this would be a good place for ideas to make the best use of my space until I can expand in a year or two. I have a interest in old cars and metalshaping so that's what I plan to do with my space. Thanks Mike.

Some unasked for advice:
You can do anything you can think of. Use your entire house and yard for your purposes.
A "living room" is just a word on paper. It is just as usable for tearing down an engine or painting things. A friend of mine uses his to layout, cut and sew sails to cover ultralight aircraft.
Before you add on or build, check your zoning and building codes, HOA rules, setbacks, easements and deed restrictions to figure out all you can do.
