Well kids things are getting VERY interesting at Casa de Schifano.
Talking to the wife we both thought back 6 years and there has not been ANYTHING I havent learned how to do and turned out great. Despite the nay-sayers im building my own garage.
The first hurdle I have to over come is the concrete pad. I have to get my plant President out here ( He started out in maintenance ) to help me design this. He will help with the reality checks...No dude you cant do that.
Then I will take this to a local contractor and go thru it with them for code and more reality checks. Now comes the concrete pad. I have to string out my plan and figure out how much I need.
I will take length x width / .5 = *** . Then / *** by 27 and receive my cubic yard amount of concrete. I have to investigate "Rat wall" depth for code. and add that to the mix. If all the "if's" work out I should be completed by or around 4th of July. I will have a week off from work to do Da ruff stuff. Once walls and roof are completed then I will slow down construction and drywall and the like. All the city wants is structural,electrical ,windows & doors and pad for the permit so I can do the rest later. I wish I had pictures or a design program to show whats in my head.
So with out further ado.....The OFFICIAL ..CERTIFIED...STAMPED AND APPROVED
