Just thought I would post and say Hi to everyone. Nice site you have here!

I have a relatively small but usually neat and well stocked garage. I hope some of the ideas I've come up with over the years will help someone out. You can check it out on the link below and click on "workshop"-

You DID register on THE MAP right?

Some sweet rides on that page. Especially the GTO Judge.

Welcome aboard! Nice to have another Michigan member here. That's a great shop, with lots of good organizational ideas. I love the model RR setup.

Some neat ideas there...been wondering what to do with the HO train set that's been in a box since the daughter grew out of it (she's 33 now!)

Thanks for the welcome, guys. I'm in the process of rigging up a garage door opener on the train board to raise and lower it. Still in the design stages, though.

Nice set up,Kurt. Where are the electric heaters from? Is 10,000 watts enough to get the shop warm in the winter? Mine still needs the ceiling drywalled and insulated and I'm debating what to do for heat source.

You know what I would do when you get that setup.....when its raised have something covering it at the same time....so when its being raised it gets covered by a tub or something so it keeps the dust and dirt out of it when its that high

Welcome!

Kurt,

My friends have a '64 Tempest that we did a weekend road trip down to North Carolina to buy and bring up to Michigan. It now has a rebuilt 400 and they added Power Steering and Power Disc Brakes so it really runs and drives right

Warren,
They actually do a good job. It takes 20-30 minutes to get comfortable when I keep them turned down most of the time. I ordered them directly from Fherienheat (sp?). Seems like I came up with a couple of sources when I googled them.
