Hello all. I just came across this site a few days ago. Wow! There are some nice garage/shop's here. My wife and I have recently moved to the country, it has been a dream of our for many years. My criteria was the new place had to have a garage/ shop area. I have never lived anywhere with a place to work on my cars or bikes. My wife found the perfect house for her and a 30x40 detached garage with a 20x40 open shed built on the back for me. Here is a pic from the outside, I'll have to take some of the inside and post them up. I am so happy to have a place to work on my stuff.

I no longer have the Camaro in the pic.

Thanks for the welcome! I LOVE having my own garage. The last house - I worked on my bikes in a shed. This is a game changer. I'm starting to want to buy my first welder. I'm looking for a Mig that can do sheet metal for auto body up to angle iron.

211 Miller. You can run 0.023 wire for bodywork and 0.035 wire for light fabrication. I had to do some really difficult welds (3/16 stainless square bar to 1" steel plate) at height a few years ago. Bought a different welder that was also portable and it just wouldn't do the job. Paid triple the money for the 211 and carried it around 30' up for the summer running it from 120V 20A breaker and able to penetrate decent welds into the 1" plate. Most versatile little welder you can find.

That looks like a KILLER little machine. A bit above my budget at the moment though. I'm keeping my eyes on CL. Every once in a while a nice welder pops up.

New addition to the shop. A new Cub Cadet XT2 Enduro LX46. Replacing my tired old Husqvarna.

The first cut with the new Cub Cadet went great. This is a lot more tractor than the Husqvarna it replaced, but with a couple acres I have empty the bags often. I cut every week, so the grass wasn't very high. Oh well, take the good with the bad. At least the bags are easy to empty.

Welcome to the addiction. Nice looking shop already, now the fun part of filling up every spare space you can find haha.

With the mowing, I have... well... I think the previous owners just kept moving the mow line as the years went, so closer to half an acre I think than the 3rd listed on my deed. I wouldn't have much use for a sit on being my gardens and gazeebo and all such things. To the point, I was emptying that bag quite a lot and likely still will keep with bagging early spring. I started mulching otherwise and it really does save a ton of time. Not messy at all, I'm sure the grass will be healthier for it too.

Welcome to the site. Next door neighbor, Butler County. Sarver, Home of Lernerville Speedway, "the action track". I have multiple CM boxes some that are restored and others that are waiting to be. Retirement hobby. My wife says that I have a problem, yes, it's not enough room..

Welcome from another Pa. member. Paving roads in Armstrong county now, between Kittanning and Rural Valley. About a hour and ten minutes from my home.

Welcome aboard from a former "PA" guy. I grew up in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. Haven't had it as my address since I left for college in 1993 but it will always be "home."

Love the garage space and nicely done with the "Grilzeebo"

Kittanning is a great Little town. Are you working on 422?

No Not 422. Paving some of the back roads more towards Rural Valley, Dayton, Yatesboro. I thought our back roads were bad in Cambria county. Those rural roads in Armstrong are some of the roughest riding roads I have ever
