I have been lurking off and on for a few years.I am planning out a small garage to keep me occupied until I can afford to buy a larger place and build a full size garage.I think about a 1 acre foot print should be big enough. In the mean time I will be pinching pennies and DIY'ing everything I can.

I saw in another post that you have Buick Skylark and you are considering a EFI upgrade for it. I also have a Buick Skylark, they are super cool cars. I have had the Fitech and some older megasquirt EFI systems and I really suggest waiting a year or so as there are still some bugs they need to work out. A properly running Q jet will not give up much drivability or fuel mileage compared to a TB EFI system in my opinion.

Pics of your Skylark?

Thanks for the heads up on Fitech and MegaSquirt. I hadn't looked into them yet. I am a bit familiar with the older MegaSquirt/MicroSquirt systems.

I don't have any pics. She's banged up from when my aunt had her. I drove her for a couple years. I squirreled her away about 20 years ago when I had a newer car given to me by my grandmother. I did have the front end dug out to do some work on her. She's packed away again for the winter. I haven't decided on FI or staying with the QJ. The QJ never let me down. It needs a good cleaning and rebuild tho.

Welcome from the mountains of western NC!!
Thanks. I've been around a while now.

I travel WNC a lot. I am hoping I may find a small plot of land up your way to build my retirement cabin on. The best motorcycling roads are in the tri-state area, NC, TN, GA.
