Hi everyone,
I've lurked on the forum for a long time, dreaming about a better garage. Well that time has finally come, as I am just wrapping up escrow on a new home that has a 21' x 47' garage
I know this size garage isn't as amazing as what most of you guys have built, but to find a garage this size in Southern California is rare. I attached a shot of the garage during my inspection. It has its own 120a sub panel with a 220v.
I'll be using the garage mainly as an auto shop. I race a Toyota MR2 and I am also planning to start a 24 Hours of Lemons team. The first thing that will be going into the garage is a lift.
My big issue right now is figuring out how to finish up the garage with paint, flooring and storage on a reasonable budget. I'm just glad this forum exists because I have found a great deal of information to plan accordingly.
Can't wait to get my garage build thread started once the house is mine!
