I have a Liftmaster 1/2 hp garage door opener that has stopped working. It hums for a few seconds and doesn't lift or close the garage door. I replaced the capacitor and it started working again for about two months...now it does the same thing it was doing before. The nylon gears are in good shape so I'm assuming it's the capacitor again. I connected the 2 blue wires to one side of the capacitor and the 2 red wires to the other side of the capacitor. Is that the correct connection I need to make? If not, then maybe that's why the current capacitor only lasted about 2 months. Any suggestions?
