Hi, I've been reading page after page of garage builds for days and wish I had found GJ sooner! I have 3 threads open right now and am getting so many ideas for my project that my head hurts.

We built our house 28 years ago and it had a small one car garage in a walk out basement. Needless to say it rarely saw a car because it was always full of unorganized junk.

4 years ago we built an addition and it included a 2 1/2 car garage. I finally had room for 2 vehicles and 'stuff'. My vision for this garage was to keep it neat and organized but that never happened. We just didn't have enough room for the 'stuff'.

Yesterday we broke ground on a 30x40 gambrel style barn. The attic space is to finally organize and store the 'stuff' and the main floor is to store the tractor, gator, atv, etc. and my Shelby. It will also have a small shop area and multipurpose room in 2 separate rooms

This will be my golden opportunity to do it right in both spaces. I have found the holy grail of inspiration here at Garage Journal. :)
