Hi, guys. Ive been lurking for quite a while and thought I'd finally post. We've been cleaning out my elderly in-law's place for the last year or so, and have gotten rid of a bunch of junk, but still have lots to go. I'm looking for some ideas about how this metal display cabinet thingy might be used.
It's about 21" deep x 41" wide x 33" tall closed and 66" tall open. It has fixed bins in the bottom, and shelves on top when open. I think it was used in a feed store for seeds and the like, but I'm not sure why it folds. My father in law just used it open to cram junk into, but I was thinking maybe adding casters and have a roll around toolbox, using the shelves for holding parts from whatever one is working on. The deep bins really aren't very handy for tools, though. I thought someone may see a cool re-purpose.

Could be used for hardware storage. Could put it on casters but the way it opens would require lots of clear space in front of it for that to work well. (although if you fastened the top so that it wouldn't fall over there's no reason that it needs to be closed)

wheel weights, lug nuts,
if you keep the folding section upright, hang spray bottles off a ledge. Or hammers.

Let your work direct what you need to have at hand & within reach.

Thanks. I guess just open storage is the best way to use it. I just thought it's a darn shame to not use the folding feature. :)
