As the name says I have a Firebird. Came here looking for info, hoping to get a few ideas on how to work in a crowded garage.
69 Firebird in pieces, just scored a 455 block and crank. Also have the toasted stock 350 and a 400 from a 72 Grand Prix.
Have to share the garage with Wifemobile, Subaru Legacy wagon and 2 Harleys, anyone want a Low Mileage 2005 FLSTNI Softail Deluxe? It's for sale.
2 Car garage, barely. Only 16 inches on either side of a 16 foot roll-up door. Bedrooms directly above so only an 11 foot ceiling.
Air compressor will be outside on a pad next to the AC unit, power is not a problem, meter and breaker panel are on the outside wall, panel on the inside.
Looks like a great forum, I'll be checking around.

Thanks for reading;

Matt

Welcome to the forum!! You'll find all levels of experience and expertise here so make sure you ask lots of questions.

Your garage situation reminds me of my last garage - a double wide with a 16' x 7' door. Somehow I managed to stuff a couple of work benches, shelving, air compressor, welder, blast cabinet and one car in there. It was good enough though to put together my last project car.

About 3 yrs. ago I sold the place, moved out of suburbia to the country on a 9 acre hobby farm and am just finishing off a new 60'W x 100'L x 16'H toy shop. Lots of space for awhile now I hope!
