new guy new compressor line ??

hey guys i just picked up a sanborn 60 gal. 5 hp 150.psi compressor i went to harbor freight and got there 30.00 regulator and filter/oiler unit and a 50ft
1/2'' hose am i going in the right direction?

I would not use the oiler, they make a mess of your air hose / lines. Just oil your tools diectly as needed. If you have plans for painting or plasma you will have to upgrade your system, and for sure you don't want to use any type of oiler if that is your plan oil is the death of plasma and paint work. For running impacts, die grinders etc, you should be good.

yeah i removed the oiler it was junk i'm thinking about trying painting but i dont think i have enough cfm's it only has 7
