Hi Folks,
I've been stalking the board for a few years and I've finally decided to make an account so I can begin collecting advice on my (near future) home garage/shop build.
I'm a 'new' (3 years in... 12 to go) home owner with a little over half an acre. My house was built in the 50's and has a (listed as) 2 car garage (it's more like 1.5 cars) that was originally detached with a breezeway and enclosed in at some point, as far as I can tell anyways.
I'm a hot rod builder by trade and need room at home for my personal cars and maybe my racecar too. Having your own professional hot rod shop sounds cool but sometimes you'd rather just be at home working on your own stuff.
