I've been messing with motors/vehicles for 40 years, so much enjoyment from the garage I purchased a Company called Garage Storage Cabinets. Check us out at www.garagestoragecabinets.com. I'll offer special discounts to the other "junkies" out there. Call me toll free and I'll assist you with a garage lay out and the opportunity to save BIG $$$$'s.

This isn't Jim, but I just installed a bunch of these cabinets.

They do not have backs. This is a good thing because it means that you can still access AC outlets. I also won some Gladiator cabinets that are very nice, but I had to mount them up high to get above the ac outlets in my walls. The GSC cabinets are very strong, and the mounting system, while a bit over designed, is never going to come off the wall. I also like the idea of having the cabinets mounted off the floor. It allows you to hose the garage down if needed, or to at least sweep under them. I bought the unfinished cabinets, and then painted them after they were in place. I painted the doors a metallic grey that looks kind of like new cast iron.

I am using the Gladiator cabinets for things like oil and paint and other solvents. The metal won't be effected by leaks or spills. The GSC cabinets are used for storage of everything else. I think I have a total of about 70 feet of cabinets installed so far.
