IMG_0842.jpgHi all.
A few pics of my garage. Small two car garage attached to the house.
I’m trying to find cheap cabinets, will for sure end up with IKEA stuff. I will probably do a rebuild in a near future with cabinets and new workbench, just need to save up some money, as always. Isn’t much when comparing with your American style garages but it’s mine and I’m proud of it.
Also I need to remake the garage floor, it was a car port before, that’s why the floor is in such a bad condition. Ice water dripping off from the car onto the floor and destroying it. Doesn’t get better off that we have to ride around six months a year with spike tires, tearing up any floor topping.

I always enjoy seeing garages from other countries: they look similar to ours, but on close examination are usually about 5 degrees different.

For example, I'm guessing that most garages in Sweden have a place for winter wheel/tire storage for all their cars where most American garages don't. And while I don't know, I guess that the yellow thing is probably a kind of snow blower? Just another thing we rarely see in Virginia.

I bet most of them don't have many standard (i.e., SAE) tools there either, as surely all the cars they see there are metric. Look how much that saves them in tool storage alone! :)

Thanks for the pics, Peter, and good luck on the floor!

I'm with BoostAddiction on this one. It's always very interesting to see how things are done in other parts of the world. Thanks for sharing the pics.

I was thinking the "yellow thing" was a riding mower.

Just one question, why do they call you Swede?:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
just kidding, a little Yankee humor. I'll bet IKEA makes decent cabinets that you can use in a garage.
