I'm 28 years old, and from upstate NY. I've been checking out the Garage Journal for a while, but just recently moved into a new house with a garage. Prior to that, I was building bikes in my basement. Anyways, the garage is 24x24' with 13.5' ceilings. I just completed a lighting project, upgrading from 2 CFL's to 6 8' long T8 fixtures. Here's some pics of the garage:

Here's a link to the thread with my lighting upgrade in it:

And here's some of the toys I keep in my garage (old pics, not from the new garage, yet):
The MTB's:

Plus 2 lawn tractors and a Kayak. I don't have any illusions that it will all fit in there, but I'll be rotating toys in and out of the garage as the seasons dictate. Hope to find some good info and tips on setting up my garage, and will hopefully be able to contribute with some ideas of my own. The next project will be building a workbench with storage underneath for the bins of motorcycle parts I have!

Those liftmaster 3800's would work great for my setup! The plan is to eventually build a detached garage on the other side of the driveway, but that will be a few years away. So for now, anything I can do to make it more useable will be worthwhile. However, I do have full access to a garage with a highbay and a lift that's about 20 minutes away, if I need to put my truck or my wife's car up in the air. Its worth the drive if its a big job.
