I've learned a ton on this board, and ready to get started on some projects.

I have 3 separate applications to discuss-

Application #1. 1200 sq ft. We put dye in our basements concrete. Looked like ordinary concrete until we added Kure N Seal (now MasterSeal). We really like the look, but reseal every 5 yrs. It’s a hassle, but I'm not sure if there is a more durable product for this. I'm afraid if I just top coat urethane, the Kure N Seal will still breakdown, locking in UGLY. Lol. Since we JUST resealed this year, it is a lower priority. However if there is an easy solution (don't want to strip what we just put down) i've got the time.

Application #2. 1600 sq ft. Outdoor patio (use to be a garage, now just a weathered slab). Doesn't look like it has ever been sealed. I have no problem grinding, shot blasting, acid washing, whatever prepping is needed to get a finish (and color) that makes my wife happy. If the grill wasn't out there, i'd never see it. lol

Application #3. INDUSTRIAL. 3000 sq ft. We put in a product that has a sand layer compressed, then top coated for forklift traffic. Now WE (using plant personnel) need to get all the foot traffic areas looking similar. Nothing in control rooms (yet) just high foot traffic areas. ALSO we have some corrosive areas (200F Caustic to 95% sulfuric) we would consider treating (just a small "sample" to see if it will hold up- then up to 1200 sq ft). This is for my work. Currently slick finished 15 yr old concrete. Was sealed new, and nothing for the last 15 yrs.

I have studied some sponsors of this board, and they look solid- I just want to make sure i have the right materials and techniques for a good looking durable job.

You have come to the right place! What part of the country are you in? Do you have any pics of the three areas?

I'm in West Ky, about 40 miles N of Nashville, Tn. I can grab some pics tonight, and try to figure out how to post in the AM.

And thanks for the welcome! Yes, i am BLOWN AWAY at the knowledge and help available here. I don't want to be the "spoon fed" new guy, but when experts like yourself are available for discussion, might as well pick your brain

One of the great things about this forum is it brings together some great vendors, but you will see a ton of regular people chime in on what they have used

Not sure I completely understand what you are looking to do with the first section. If you are not wanting to take off what is there, other coatings are going to fail.

Welcome. I'm in Paducah, so not far from you. Justin knows his stuff. I just used his TLPPC sealer on my 30x32 and love it. Check out my thread, I love my TLPPC floor, for pics, although I'm not sure if it works for your applications.

I definitely don't want to strip what we just put down. Are there more durable products that will bring out the color in the dyed concrete? It just looks like plain concrete when stripped, then the sealer brings out really nice brown shades on 2'x2' stamped sections. The sealer i'm using gives it really nice colors. (for about 3-4 yrs). I'll post pics when i get home.
And i figured just "top coating" with a clear sealer was not a good option, but never can tell what these guys have up their sleeves.

There are several versions of Kure N Seal do you know which one? If you like it, the best thing to do is find out the recoat procedure. Some of their products can be sprayed directly on top of the older application... Others can't.

Man that is SWEET! Has the au naturale look. I'd be nervous, not knowing how it would turn out, but that looks real nice. In the next 6 months i will have a post frame shop. That is exactly the look id like to have. I'll do alot of work in mine- maybe even some welding- so durability will be key.
Is that framing on 12" centers?
