Almost complete 800 sq ft. garage and 1500 sq ft. covered carport.
Weekend mechanic and boater.
20,000 lb. truck will come and go everyday, don't want tire marks.

Leaning towards polishing concrete. Have no estimates yet.
Have read alot of posts in this forum,so many ideas.
Ceramic tile sounds good, until I drop a 20 lb. starter on it.
Thanks Tom

I like the tile too but like you said drop anything heavy and your done. Mine is still a working garage and I really want something that can stand up to the abuse.
The biggest problem I am having is who is really telling the truth about there product , They all seem to claim pie in the sky results but from what I have read none of them do.

How ever I do like the system RD has but like I said my garage is a working garage and not sure there product will even take the abuse and not sure I want to invest that kind of money on my floor when it's working garage.

Go with porcelain, install it with 100% coverage (ie. back butter) and it'll be harder than the concrete it sits on. Do some more research here as there are plenty of folks that have detailed what they've dropped on the stuff with no issues (ie. transmissions, etc...) and look for the video done where on a ceramic install, the person is trying to break a tile with a sledge...pretty convincing.
