New guy with a new prefab garage

Hello all...I just joined since I just took delivery yesterday of a brand new 14x22 prefab garage. I plan on parking my truck in it on a daily basis since it doesn't fit in the attached garage on the house (truck is about 6" too long).

The flooring is a composite material with a brand name of something like "Smart-tec". I would like to apply another layer of water protection to help make it last as long as possible. The place I bought it from G&B Sheds suggested epoxy paint, but every can I look at says it is only for concrete and not to apply to wood.

So...any suggestions on what to use? Will the "normal" epoxy garage floor paint work? Will I need something else?

Wood is perfect for epoxy. Because wood is fibrous, it soaks it up nice. and bonds super well.

I dont totally understand the structure of the unit though. Whats under those boards to support a truck?

Thank you guys for the responses.

The garage, does have pressure treated floor joists that are 8" on center. I haven't put my truck in there yet, but drove it in a sample one and that held it up just fine. I want to put the epoxy down first before tracking too much dirt, stones, etc. onto the floor.

I'm far from knowing anything about loads and what not.

But to me that looks like a mini barn that over time will collapse with the stress a truck will put on the floor with daily use.
