Hi all, I'm new on the site. Have looked in from time to time. I would really like some help in knowing more about this particular find.

This vise was given to me to haul out of a guys garage. You know the "if you can move it you can have it" situation. Well, it's not super heavy--- 150lbs.

The obvious markings are Wilton 9-C3, 101065. I think it might be something special. I would like to restore it. Any thoughts on would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome from another newbie.
It looks like a Wilton Machinsts vise, or "bullet" vise. Well worth the effort of restoring since they are top quality.

Thanks, good to know. It looks like mechanically it's in top shape. Just been neglected. I'm gonna need some handles for the swivel locks and a couple screws to keep the back "U" ring in place. The rest is getting rid of the surface rust.

I know right... This kinda thing doesn't happen very often. I'm wanting to find some info about it so I know what I've got.
