New guy with more flooring protection questions

Hello all, another new guy here.

I just finished the task of building a new house and finally got my detached garage built

It's getting close to 30 days since my new garage's concrete floor was poured so it's time to consider my options with protecting it.
I've read a lot of posts here regarding the epoxy coatings and have seen good and bad opinions. I called my local Sherwin Williams store and they do sell the epoxy kits.
My 28x34 garage is going to be used for storing my old musclecars, ATV's, motorcycles, tractors, tools etc. There will be some mechanical work done in the garage like oil changes, brake jobs, engine replacements etc. I don't plan on doing much torch cutting or welding. I also plan to install a 4 post lift.
I haven't seen anything mentioned about using the spray on or roll on concrete sealers?
Are these a big NO NO?
The garage floor at my last house had a sealer on it that resisted oil and fluid spils well and held up great for the 11 years I lived there.
If I use the spray on or roll on sealers is there no changing over to epoxy down the road?

Any opinions, suggestions, or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Definitely try to find someplace that uses a sealer and another that uses epoxy so you can check them out first hand. Once you see them in person it should make the decision easier.

As far as switching to epoxy after sealer, I think you would just need to sand/rough up the surface a bit to give the epoxy something to grip onto. The higher quality epoxies also want you to acid etch the floor and I'm not sure what would happen if you try to acid etch a sealer. Might not be pretty...
