I just found this site, and wanted to show everyone my new garage/shop that I recently had built. It's a 24'x32' pole building with full insulation and radiant tube heat. I will be picking a floor coating soon, and this site has plenty of good info on that. I want to paint it soon before I fill it up with stuff.
Project car is a '41 Willys streetrod with early Hemi firepower.

Sweet tires, huh? The Willys is from Outlaw Performance in Pennsylvania. Thats the way you get the car from them. It helps out till I get the real wheels/tires.

The interior walls are a perforated ribbed steel. The same type of ribbed steel used on the exterior roof and siding. The company that built it is Morton Buildings. They did a very good job...The paint is actually the gelcoat finish right out of the mold....

So thats how those run flat work, they start out flat, too bad the Flintstones are around to see this new technology.

Nice shop, Can't wait to see your progress on both.

Great looking shop! Let's see some pics of the outside. Morton just
put a couple buildings up in my area, great quality.
Sweet project, wouldn't look right without that Hemi!
Good luck, Rich

Looks good. Nice bends on EMT and would be easy to wash the floor. Light color walls appear to brighten the place without a ton of light fixtures required. The electrical panel looks a little low to me.?

Looking good I really like the liner panel for the inside and quite fancy with the 2 colors! I used it on part of the ceiling of my shop.

I'm very satisfied so far with Outlaw. I originally went out to their shop in February of 2005. We took a tour of the place, which was very interesting. Saw how the frames and body were made. Very knowledgable people...We ended up placing the order for the Willys that day. Their lead time is a while though. I didn't take delivery (went out and picked it up) until the first week of October '05, so it was a full 8 months wait. It was worth it...body is very good and frame well made. They even made special accomodations for me on the rear end I wanted to use. Outlaw only offers the Ford 9" rear with their chassis, but I planned on using a Dana 60...No problem. I had the empty rear housing shipped to them and they installed it. Came out real good...no complaints regarding quality or service so far....

p.s. I'll include a few pics of the outside of the building in next post...

I'm going to speak with the morton building rep this week, do you mind me asking how much the building cost you per square foot?
