hello I am about to start on my 1st project a 28x28 garage and I dont have alot of exp. I have got quotes of $16000 with no electric.So I will attempt it my self any input would be helpfull thanks in advance

Are you going to attempt the electric yourself or the whole deal. The only reason I ask is that 16000 is a pretty good deal for a 28x28, assuming stick built. My 26x28 is pushing 12K in materials alone. It's got some nice (expensive) features, including a 12/12 pitch roof with attic trusses and about 2K in windows. In any event, give us a little more info on what you need help with. I'd recommend the black and decker books for wiring.

well I am contracting out the electric work and the concrete floor with 2 rows of 8" block the rest yea stick built the rest I am doing on my own 28x28 with 2 8x10 doors and a 36" entry door no windows

Man, I'm jealous. My build is twice the size, but the quotes have been coming in at six figures plus.

forgot to tell their will be know upper unit just a 4/12 roof
