Thanks for having me here. Looking forward to reading up on the garage builds done by others. I am in the design phase of a 40x60x20 workshop/garage. It will be used to store my tractor, toys, wood shop, and where I butcher. I expect to have to remove about 4' of soil and build up before pouring concrete due to my water table.

Welcome.
Be sure to compact that fill properly.
If you plan on butchering,Id plan on water to shop . Sinks drains.
Read some of my posts , one being about a Shop sink.
I see plenty of shops being a mixer driver. Im surprised at how many dont have water in or to them.
Stub out for electrical ,etc before pouring slab. Fibermesh in conc. would be a good idea.
Hope I helped and goodluck
