New stuff coming that i thought would interest you.

White 5 drawer.
Vulcan welding cart($100).
Vulcan Pro Tig 205.

I dont have dates or prices. And the only one ive seen in person is the welding cart. Looks thought out.

I think there will be other boxes in white in the late future.

Dont blame you at all. The internal issues and frugality at the expense of both team and customers topay for that fourth yacht is wrong.

The guy makes money, selling inexpensive, affordable imported tools, to Americans, who don't make much money.

Demon!:wtf:

Talk about shooting the messenger.

As Ive long said, why pay more for imported tools? I have no qualms shopping there when it fits the budget.

What have I missed? I was raised to buy Craftman (Back when it was USA) but have been shopping at HF since I was 12, for cheap tools I couldn't afford nice versions of.
I've loved their huge upgrade in tool quality over the last few years and swear by their Pitts. Pro ratchets and US.G. boxes for home use.
Was there some sort of shady business practice going on I've never heard about?

I think the CEO is rich and has a lot of yachts.

And he's the CEO of a large company. That's like telling people water is wet.
How is this shocking?

Now the only thing I can think of that people take issue with is the RUMINT that at one time he was taking out loans from the business and the company was "forgiving" the loan. OK maybe I can see how this might ruffle feathers. But here's the thing, nothing legally prevents someone from doing this and he's hardly the only top executive who does this exact thing.

I'll be interested to see what their TIG's specs are.

yeah but then at least something in my garage would be fast :lol_hitti

LMFAO... I had to read it sideways few times to get this one....:bounce:

What I mean was that the white surface gets dirty and gets noticeable easily than other colors, if you are into colorful displays it's probably good...

Maybe it's dumb, and maybe it's because I primarily work in IT, but I love dirty stuff. It's like a secret medal that only a few people understand, it's a sign of doing more than sitting in my office job resolving computer-related issues. I love finishing up a job and looking like a post-BP seagull, because it means that I (probably) got something accomplished that day.

My toolboxes are black at the moment, but if they're available when I eventually upgrade, white is definitely on my list.

I’ll bet you they start showing up in medical practices all over the country. How many times have you walked into an office and saw a red craftsman or other brand of toolbox in the doctors office? Both of my GP and orthopedic surgeon have craftsman boxes loaded with tools and medical supplies.

Anyone have pics of the white? Will these be added up the toolbox line?

In the past the new colors were first available for the tool carts, then added to the 26” and 44” later. So I say there is a good chance. I’m most interested in the 56”. If it’s available in white, I will be getting one for sure.

I have an ad showing the number as 56429. But when you punch that number into search on HF website, it comes up as 'Sorry no item found for 56429'

Have to wait to see if that number will change.

..... lmfao... actually zero times I have seen tool box at doctor's office... I would be scared if the doctor ask the nurse "could you get me that angus probe on the top draw of that craftsman tool box...."

I would be really tempted to ask "if that is a craftsman brand or HF...angus probe." :lol_hitti

That would be the only few times I would ask for the COO...

I've seen them in hospitals where they keep prescription drugs another chargeable medical supplies.

It looked like it had some type of proximity alarm attached to it likely in case someone tried to move it out of the area.

It might seem like blasphemy here, but at the end of the day a toolbox is a lockable metal box with sliding drawers /doors.

Same, I've seen plenty of Lista and Vidmar stuff around doctors offices and I saw a black Waterloo chest a few weeks ago in a nurses station/ admin desk, and even a Kennedy stack in a screening room at my ophthalmologist, but I cant say I've ever seen any red craftsman or otherwise in a doctors office. I would assume its mostly because bright red in a what is usually a white/ very pale yellow and similar colored rooms you find in hospitals/ offices, would stick out quite a bit so a neutral white or light blue like Lista uses would fit better aesthetically

I’m all in on the white tool boxes or cart if they make them!

Me too! I've always wanted a white toolbox but I'm not buying a truck brand to get one. It will be for home. I work in a heavy equipment shop and every color gets dirty fast!

Yesterday, in Harbor Freight, I saw that they have some new magnetic wrench racks, screwdriver racks, bit holders, several different variations of socket holders in all 3 drive sizes. Some were twist lock, like the Mechanics Time Savers. They had the kind of socket tray that is a plate with a handle and 4 rows of holders on it. There were also some Hanson style socket holders, with the pins that stick up through the upside down socket. There was a coated wire pliers rack also.

It was all "US General" branded and seemed a bit too expensive for what it was.

They also had the magnetic toolbox accessories, like the paper towel holder and glove dispenser, in all the toolbox colors now.
