I was looking at getting a new set of trim tools, and saw these while picking up my new box at HF.. Anyone use these or any experience?

Those look interesting. It's kinda hard to screw up a panel tool to be honest. I know I have a set of the blue plastic panel tools from HF and they're great. Actually better quality than SO/Blue Point. I had a SO/Blue Point plastic panel tool straight crack during an install. If these are at the HF store near me I might pick a set up just for the hell of it.

Kinda expensive for HF tools. When I saw the picture I was thinking like $14.95 or so. I have a set of the blue and yellow plastic HF trim tools and they work fine. Only thing I would be worried about on those is how easy the tips bend.

I thought perhaps it was just me but that was exactly the same thought that went through my mind as I took my first glance at them. I also figured a $20 would buy the set so I too was not expecting quite so much. They do look good though and really the price is not that bad, I would wait for them to go on sale and give em a whirl.

With HF stuff I like to see it with my own two eyes before I decide on buying, could be good, could be junk.

I have the Lisle trim tool with a short handle and U clip remover, plus a rubber bead on the shaft for leverage on paint.

Looking just now this one looks pretty good too.

And a set of the K/D plier type trim removers, I think I'll be all set. Truth be told, if I hadn't gotten the SO set for Christmas 2years ago, I would definitely consider that HF set....
