Has that been confirmed anywhere? I thought these new Hercules power tools might have a longer warranty, but they don't, still that same old 90 days.
Yes, check the last page of the manual: https://manuals.harborfreight.com/manuals/63000-63999/63616.pdf

Also, We got the first coupon for one of these in yesterday..

Plus, a 20% off all consumables: (I think a regular 25% would work anyhow?)

Yup, your right, I have nary a clue about what I'm talking about. How dare I interrupt you golden arms during your circle jerk. I'll step aside and let you tell everyone how you slammed up the Golden Gate Bridge and stitched her up with a car battery, jumper cables, and 6011. Lol, carry on.

Seriously, walking a cup is your justification for your expertise???
I have a guy that freehand welds near perfect uniform beads on the skin for aluminum feed trailers, in any position. Yet he doesn't know a difference between 4043, 5356, 6061, dcep, dcen.
Being a good artist doesn't make you an equipment expert.

Sooooo... nobody has actually tried using the welder, you're all just speculating on a tool you've not even had your hands on?

Can someone who's actually tried the thing chime in please?

HTP makes Miller and Lincoln look bad. I think they make the best welders on the planet for the money and maybe the best welders on the planet for any amount of money. Their customer service is also off the charts.

For the money? They seem to be in the price range of other top of the line stuff at the over 2k price range. Am I missing something?

Yea, the really advanced features of their welders. The Propulse 200 MIG in particular with the array of synergic functions it has built into it and the ability to weld aluminum in pulse mode without the need for a spool gun. Their welders are from STEG in Italy and are among the most advanced in the world. FOR THE MONEY HTP gives you more capability than any other welder on the market in my opinion.

That may be, but it's a bit irrelevant on a thread about economy branded welders

The pricing is getting close to the Hobart which btw is a very good machine.

And I think this is the real issue. The Vulcan welder, good or bad, are no longer "dirt cheap". For a few dollars more you can get a know name brand welder. Maybe not Miller or Lincoln, but as stated, Hobart is a pretty good brand.

Still the "new kid on the block", but i have never heard any negative comments about the Alpha TIG 2000 (yeah, it could have a better torch) and it is only a few hundred about the Vulcan with a **** ton more features !

Segue - I am very interested to see how "in the field" results are for the HF inverter generators. It will take a few years, but Champion has been around now for awhile and is only now starting to be acknowledged as a reasonable alternative to the (IMHO) over-price Honda and Yamaha models. Both of those companies need to up their game.

Fender1325. Price is only half of the VALUE equation. Capability is the other half. With the aluminum capabilities of the Propulse 200 there is a very high probability that I'll never need to use my TIG again as it lays down perfect (stack of dime) beads in double pulse mode on 16 gauge aluminum. Not needing to buy a TIG and all the stuff that goes with that makes the VALUE equation heavily tilt in it's direction. Yes I own a TIG but it's becoming more of a stick welder than a TIG welder because of the Propulse.
