There was a woman in town selling 4 of these wooden boxes for cheap. She used them for needlepoint thread. I plan on mounting them on the wall for some more hardware storage. Can never have too many placed to put fasteners.

I had four of them in my garage. Realized they are sought after, sold them for 75 bucks each on ebay. Not bad for a 10 dollar yard sale score. I had all the thread, donated it to the local youth program on base for arts and crafts.

What??!!?? If that's what they're worth I'll post them. I don't need nut and bolt storage that bad. I have other boxes lol. I just thought they were cool

Yes, they are worth a lot more to people who do embroidery and needle point. I have two of the DMC floss cabinets myself that I picked up for free when a local Walmart was doing away with them. When I decided to look for more, I found out how much they are worth to craft people. I had already painted mine so I kept them. I did away with the floss dividers and cut the bottoms out of quart oil bottles to make hardware divider bins. I made a shelf just to hold these on the wall, but I am rearranging again so they are temporarily sitting on my bench.
