Hi guys
I have a 500SQ ft garage which for the last year I have had this G Flooring down and returned it earlier today to costco.
I pulled it up to look inderneath and to redo a seam dn well I have a pile of mold underneath it,my garage is heated and air conditioned but its a slab with a broom finish and I guess all the moisture wicked up and got caught under the g floor.
So im right in the middle of deciding to either go with the costco motofloor or the racedeck but im in Ontario Canada and I dont beleive there are any dealers here.
So my question is will the racedeck/moto floor sit properly on a broom finshed floor?

also I see the putting some strategically placed flow through tiles would really help with circulation under the floor so my next question is will the racedeck connect into the motofloor should I have to go that way ?

heres a few pics of my shop

Hi
Welcome to the GJ forum. You will find tons of helpful information to customize your garage here.

RaceDeck will perform perfectly for your application. We also have the FreeFlow open grid tile that might be very good for you as well

We do have a dealer in Canada who inventories a significant amount of RaceDeck. Also, Costco in Canada carries MotoFloor.
If you call during the week, We will make sure that you are taken care of and be sure to mention that you are a Garage Journal member for discounts :)

also is the moto floor and racedeck compatable
are the two interchangable
ie I order mainly motofloor depending on price but then order complimenting peices of racedeck like flow free for some areas and a stripe or two in a different color
Costco seems to offer only white and black or charcoal on its own

Yes & No :wtf:

The locks on the RaceDeck are a bit more beefy but you can snap a motofloor into the RaceDeck. They will stay together, but not with the same 'positive' lock force as if you had RaceDeck to RaceDeck or MotoFloor to MotoFloor. Also there is a very slight height difference ( and the obvious top tread patterns are not the same).

Thanks

Best of luck with it! If you are concerned about being able to get dirt and mud out from underneath it you may want to consider an open tile such as the Swisstrax RIbtrax or Racedecks product.

i see the gap is a little more than I thought but all in all looks good
Ive already had acomplete free flow floor and I hated it,I work on small
helicopters and loosing screws underneath the mats really was annoying
Question :
I see the edge only goes one way and I have two overhead doors
is there edging with the male connector ??

Hi
Yes we have both male (lugs) and female edges ( loops) . In regards to the FreeFlow and small screws falling though, I can see where that would be tough. We do have other draining tiles that may work see here http://www.duragrid.com/outdoorstyle.html It is called Duragrid and we sell it for patio and outdoor wet areas, it can be used with Racedeck.
