Hi, just ran across the board this week as I've been looking around at different shop layouts. My wife and I recently refinanced and paid off all the debt so it looks like I can finally have a real shop. I am the self proclaimed area jet ski guru and every year business steadily grows. I work a regular job but the last couple years from about April thru October I put in an extra 30-40 hrs a week wrenching on watercraft. There are a lot of boat shops around but nobody wants to touch the jet skis. I figured since we enjoy it as a hobby I might as well make some good money fixing other peoples broken stuff right? So anyway between trying to build projects in the backyard and working out of my little 12x18 shop I'm MORE THAN READY for a real shop. The dirt guy is supposed to come next week to straighten out the ground and I'm planning on after taxes, and the sale of a jet ski or two, I'll be pouring a pad for a 30x48 shop. I'm super excited. I'll have to do as much of the work as I can to keep costs down and I'll be scanning the posts on here to fill my head with ideas.
