Hi everyone,

Well been on the HAMB for awhile, got a cancelled posting yesterday on garages, which prompted me to come here. I've been reading quite a lot today and am planning on building a new garage. Currently have only the 2 car at the house and a small workshop out back, 16x20(big, big mistake.....could be considered a little mistake) Now I'm either going to build a 30 x 40 on our property or in another location. If I do it at the house, I'll need to remove the current garage and demolish. Things I'm really interested in is the wall height for a car lift.....but I'll be looking through the forum now. I'm a car person, ever since my cousin built model As and a 32 roadster, I've got a 34 that I'm working on. So...........thanks for letting me join.........I've already got many things in the little shop that were the ideas from this forum.........

Welcome to the GJ. Although it looks the same as the HAMB you will find this place a little more casual.

Roger, welcome to GJ. I am right down the road in Goldsboro. I'd like to check out the 34 sometime, if that's ok. Spent over six years building a '40 pickup street rod myself in the past. Twelve foot ceiling heights will handle some two post lifts.
