Hello. This forum came up a lot on google searches and I liked some of the things I saw.
For nearly 18 years I lived in a HOA and was very limited to what I could do, including having a worthwhile garage. So just over a year ago my GF and I were able to get a place with some zoning freedom, acreage and about a 32 x 36 pole barn with concrete floor. Basically about 24 x 32, with a 12 ft addition to one side. Last year I was dead broke, getting the other house sold. This year I can hopefully focus on getting the garage set up how I want, or at least a good start.
During the winter I started by building heavy duty 3 tier, 2' x 8' shelves down both sidewalls to get the bulk of things stored. My goal is to have the back wall between the shelves be a workbench and work area, but still getting ideas how to go about it. People say I need a heater, but for now it's WAY nicer than laying in the snow or mud, and having to plan around the weather.
Looking forward to getting ideas, reading other's suggestions on things.
