Hello all,
I just sold my house that had a 720sqft metal building as a workshop but had a tiny house on the property to a real house with a 2 car garage.
I'll be documenting the new (to me) 400sqft garage for fun and memories of the old house!
The first thing I did at the old house workshop was @Armorpoxy SPGX grey with the non slip powder and I will 100% do it again at the new (to me) house.
Bought the old house in 2018 and had to use an Amazon popup garage for a few years.. yuck. But better than nothing.
After 2 years of planning and dealing with building permits, dreams turned to reality. 720sqft. 10x10' roll up door.

First things.. EPXOY THE FLOOR BEFORE I SPILL OIL ON IT!
I decided to go the @Armorpoxy SPGX because the concrete was only a month old with zero stains or damage, and it was only 1 part, no mixing.
The SPGX worked fantastically for years, with lots of abuse and sun exposure.

Only issue I found after a few years was that a leaky carb on my pit-bike allowed gasoline to pool on the floor for hours and it ate a small hole through the SPGX but that was my fault not theirs. The SPGX wasn't bothered by anything other than gasoline.
I also cut it DANGEROUSLY close on coverage too.. I was broke at the time and decided to only order 3 gallons of the SPGX (because its $250/gallon but worth it) but I was able to get full coverage on the 720sqft.
The Armorpoxy SPGX stood up to welding, floor jacks, solvents, abuse, burnouts, dropping heavy metal items.
Final form of the old house workshop. It will be missed but not those 120f summer days or the 30f winter nights, yuck.

Our new place is a much better balance for the family, more than double the size of the house and 1/2 acre, and still room for our toys!
But the new (to me) 400sqft garage is uncoated concrete that has 30 years of stains and small cracks and I'd like to get the floor coated before I get too settled in.

I can't decide:
Pressure wash, acid etch, crack fill.
Then 2 gallons of SPGX grey (and maybe 1 more gallon of SPGX in clear as a second, top coat?
Unknown stains on the 400sqft garage floor.
The SPGX is so nice because it doesn't set quickly and after two days or so it is good to go.
OR
if I should just go with the 2 part epoxy kit and deal with the stress of that and the longer wait times but higher chance of long term success.
We plan to be in this house for the next 10 years or more.
Cheers!
